Here’s a few pics of the beauty I just bought to do a little restoration project with. Its an 05 yz 125. I love riding two strokes so I figured it would be cool to pick one up, do a little restoration project and document it along the way. I still have my four stroke of course but there is nothing better then wringing out a two stroke 125!! Something most kids now don’t ever get the chance to do. Most kids jump from an 85 rite to a 250f. I feel riding a two stroke helps you as a rider, it teaches you to carry momentum and flow through your corners. Gonna be so sick to get this thing all pimped out and wring er out!!
How awesome is the show Moto Inside the outdoors? !! Love that show!
Man its good to have friends in the industry. I wanna thank my boy Dave for the new pair of DC’s. These are the new versaflex model, and are by far my favorite pair of DC’s yet! Check them and many others out at www.dcshoes.com.
Check out this interview recorded nearing the end of the build at Swain Mountain
This was by far one of the hardest jobs we have ever done. The amount of ground water running out of this mountain was ridiculous! We spent days cutting in drainage swales and installing culverts in order to dry it up enough so we would have workable dirt. The dozers looked like they had been in a mud bog by the time we were through! It was a fight to the finish but we prevailed and the track came out awesome. In these pictures the track is about 90% complete, it still needs to be tilled and smoothed out. Basically all of the dozer work is done. Come on out for practice July 10th from 10AM-3PM for the opening weekend.
